Balaam's Restaurant is a new restaurant in Pewsey, co-located with the Coopers Arms Public House. Our Chef, Paul Balaam, trained under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir in Oxford.He went on to work in Paris for Drough Augustus at the Hotel de France, Nicole Landine at Chez Nico in Park Lane and, seeking a life other than 18 hours a day in the kitchen, moved out of the Big City to work at The Lamb at Burford and The Crab and Lobster (sister of The Crab at Chieveley). He is passionate about good, fresh, seasonal British produce, fish straight from the sea, fresh stocks and home-made breads - all being served simply and well. He loves talking food and is also partial to the odd glass of wine so if you have any thoughts, ideas or suggestions, catch him at the end of service with a bottle and let him know!
